Human trafficking focus of January 11 bulletin inserts

[Episcopal News Service] Episcopal Life Weekly bulletin inserts for January 11 offer information about the issue of human trafficking, which refers to people who are trapped or tricked into involuntary servitude. Annually, about 600,000 to 800,000 people -- mostly women and children -- are trafficked across national borders. That figure does not count millions trafficked within their own countries. January 11 of each year is designated by the U.S. Congress as National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

Bulletin inserts are available here.
